Common use of Joint Maintenance Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Maintenance Committee. A Joint Maintenance Committee (JMC) will be established to review and maintain the integrity of the classification plan. This will be done through the development of forms, training, amending documents as required and identifying problems and/or issues, and providing recommendations to the parties. Any decisions affecting a change to the classification plan are by mutual agreement of the parties. The Committee will be composed of six members: three bargaining unit members and three University representatives. Two will be from the Joint Evaluation Committee, two from the Joint Appeal Committee and two additional representatives who will act as co-chairs.
