Common use of Joint Panel Clause in Contracts

Joint Panel. 11 (1) The Peer Assistance and Review Program (PAR) will be administered by a Joint 12 Panel consisting of seven (7) members, four (4) classroom teachers selected 13 through a process determined by the Association, and three (3) appointed by the 14 District. Qualifications for the teacher panel members shall be the same as those 15 for Consulting Teachers as set forth in Section 3(b). A Joint Panel member’s 16 term shall be two (2) years. A teacher member may reapply at the expiration of 17 his/her term. The Panel shall establish a procedure for selecting the Chair and 18 Secretary. The terms of the Chair and Secretary shall be one (1) year, and the 19 positions shall alternate between the Association and the District. The Chair shall 20 be a full voting member of the Panel.
