Common use of Judicial and Official Appearances Clause in Contracts

Judicial and Official Appearances. 10.7.1 Employees shall be entitled to leave without loss of pay to appear in court as a witness other than as a litigant or to respond to an official order from duly authorized government agencies. 10.7.2 Any compensation received for appearance as a witness or for serving as a juror shall be given to the employer so that the total employee's compensation shall be no more than his regular compensation.
