Common use of JURISDICTION BY UNION Clause in Contracts

JURISDICTION BY UNION. The Union agrees that in the event of any Union jurisdictional dispute develops with respect to any work or classification of employment covered hereby, such dispute shall be settled between the Unions in accordance with the practices of the AFL-CIO without permitting the same to interfere in any way with the progress and prosecution of the work hereunder. Pending the settlement of any such dispute, the work shall continue on the same basis as it was being performed at the time the jurisdictional dispute arose.
