Jury Duty 26. 9.1 Upon notification of jury duty, the bargaining unit member shall immediately inform his/her immediate administrator and the Human Resources Office. 26.9.2 Bargaining unit members who are called for jury duty shall be granted leave with pay. 26.9.3 Juror's fees, exclusive of mileage received by the bargaining unit member, shall be deposited to the credit of the District. 26.9.4 If jury duty requires 1/2 day or less time from the bargaining unit member's normal duty site, the bargaining unit member shall return to his/her duty site and through mutual agreement between bargaining unit member and site administrator shall be able to work on matters directly related to employee's assignment. 26.9.5 A bargaining unit member who is absent due to jury duty shall file an absence report with the Human Resources Office for each day or portion of a day that he/she is absent.
