Common use of Jury Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury Leave. Upon written request, supported by a copy of the summons, an employee shall be granted leave paid at the rate of their full salary, less what the court pays for the performance of the required duties, to appear for or serve jury duty, provided that such appearance and/or service actually conflicts with their scheduled duties and provided that upon return to work they shall provide their supervisor with written confirmation of the date(s) and time(s) on which they appeared and/or served, signed by an appropriate official of the Court.
