Jury Leave. Section 1. Employees shall be given leave of absence with pay for working time lost when called to serve on jury duty. Such employees shall be paid at their regular rate for all working time lost up to forty (40) hours per week. In consideration of receiving their regular pay, employees shall assign to the City all other remuneration received for jury duty during the same period. Section 2. An employee whose regular work shift is at a time other than the day shift who is called upon to serve jury duty shall upon request be temporarily reassigned to the day shift for the days on which he/she is actually assigned to serve on a jury.
