XXXXXXXX FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRINCIPLES In accordance with the XxxXxxxx Fair Employment Principles (Chapter 807 of the Laws of 1992), the Contractor hereby stipulates that the Contractor either (a) has no business operations in Northern Ireland, or (b) shall take lawful steps in good faith to conduct any business operations in Northern Ireland in accordance with the XxxXxxxx Fair Employment Principles (as described in Section 165 of the New York State Finance Law), and shall permit independent monitoring of compliance with such principles.
Grantee’s Notification of Change of Contact Person or Key Personnel The Grantee shall notify in writing their contract manager assigned within ten days of any change to the Grantee's Contact Person or Key Personnel.
VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT STATUS The Contractor is required to be registered with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify system prior to entering into a contract with Orange County. The Contractor shall use the E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired by the Contractor during the contract term. The Contractor shall include an express provision in all of its subcontracts requiring subcontractors, who perform work or provide services pursuant to the contract, to use the E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired by the subcontractor during the contract term. Only those employees determined eligible to work within the United States shall be employed under this contract. By submission of a bid in response to this solicitation, the Contractor affirms that all employees in the above categories shall undergo e-verification before placement on this contract. The Contractor shall commit to comply with this requirement by completing the E-Verification certification, attached to this solicitation. A public employer, contractor, or subcontractor who has a good faith belief that a person or entity with which it is contracting has knowingly violated Section 448.09(1), Florida Statutes is obligated to terminate the contract with the person or entity pursuant to Section 448.095(2)(c)1, Florida Statutes. If Orange County terminates the contract for the foregoing reason, the contractor may not be awarded a public contract for at least one (1) year after the date on which the contract was terminated, and the contractor will be liable for any additional costs incurred by Orange County as a result of the termination of the contract.

Employee Who Acts as Representative Where an employee wishes to represent at a meeting with the Employer, an employee who has presented a grievance, the Employer will, where operational requirements permit, grant leave with pay to the representative when the meeting is held in the headquarters area of such employee and leave without pay when the meeting is held outside the headquarters area of such employee.
Relationship to Parent Award This Agreement incorporates all the terms and conditions of the Award (AW825280CAV) as at 10 April 2006 with the exception of clauses 13, 16.2.1, 22.3.4, 22.3.5, 37.6 and 40.3. Where there is inconsistency between the Award and this Agreement, the latter will prevail but only to the extent of the inconsistency.
CFR PART 200 Termination Termination for cause and for convenience by the grantee or subgrantee including the manner by which it will be effected and the basis for settlement. (All contracts in excess of $10,000) Pursuant to the above, when federal funds are expended by ESC Region 8 and TIPS Members, ESC Region 8 and TIPS Members reserves the right to terminate any agreement in excess of $10,000 resulting from this procurement process for cause after giving the vendor an appropriate opportunity and up to 30 days, to cure the causal breach of terms and conditions. ESC Region 8 and TIPS Members reserves the right to terminate any agreement in excess of $10,000 resulting from this procurement process for convenience with 30 days notice in writing to the awarded vendor. The vendor would be compensated for work performed and goods procured as of the termination date if for convenience of the ESC Region 8 and TIPS Members. Any award under this procurement process is not exclusive and the ESC Region 8 and TIPS reserves the right to purchase goods and services from other vendors when it is in the best interest of the ESC Region 8 and TIPS. Employment of Relatives The School and its employees shall comply with state law prohibiting the employment of relatives which prohibits the appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement, or the advocacy for appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement in or to a position in the charter school in which the personnel are serving or over which the personnel exercises jurisdiction or control of an individual who is a relative.
