Laboratory Testing and Engineering Analysis Sample Clauses

Laboratory Testing and Engineering Analysis. This task involves the following: ▪ Conduct a series of geotechnical laboratory tests on selected soil samples obtained from the explorations to evaluate the engineering and index properties of the site soils. The specific tests conducted will depend upon actual conditions encountered, but we anticipate our testing will include up to 40 moisture content, 4 moisture/density, 4 Atterberg limits, 6 sieve analyses, and 2 direct shear tests. Additionally, up to two suites of tests to evaluate soil corrosion potential may be performed. ▪ Conduct engineering analysis to evaluate seismic hazards, and slope stability. ▪ Perform analysis to provide retaining wall parameters such as lateral earth soil pressures and foundation design pressures. ▪ Provide recommendations for bridge foundations including deep foundations for the bridge. Deliverables ▪ All laboratory testing results are to be included in the appendices to the geotechnical report.
