Common use of Labour/Management, Health and Safety Co-operative Committee Clause in Contracts

Labour/Management, Health and Safety Co-operative Committee. The Employer will recognize a Labour/Management, Health and Safety Co-operative Committee consisting of not more than two (2) employees for the purpose of meeting with not more than two (2) representatives of the Employer to maintain communications between the parties to discuss matters of mutual concern. The Committee will meet at either the request of the Union or the Employer. Representatives of the Union will suffer no loss of pay or benefits for attendance at meetings of the Committee.
