Common use of Lamps Clause in Contracts

Lamps. a. Lamps, such as but not limited to, fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent, HID lamps (mercury vapor, metal halide, high-pressure sodium), neon lamps; and any other lamps that are dangerous waste. Fluorescent lamps being referred to as “spent” contain mercury that requires recycling. Lamps shall be treated as Universal Waste. An unused lamp becomes waste on the date the handler decides to discard it.
