Language Training. A program of language training in those languages relevant to legal services work shall be provided at the introductory level and for intermediate and advanced conversational courses.
Language Training. If the Company requires an employee to become proficient in a second language, language training shall be paid for by the Company, and the employee shall not suffer loss of normal pay during such training.

However, any report to be presented before the Committee shall, at least in its written form, be presented in English or in French. The annual review document provided for in Article 22 shall be translated in all the languages of the CCSR members.
Language Training. It is recognized that some employees may have difficulty expressing themselves in written English. For this reason the Company will use a simple format for testing (e.g., multiple choice, true/false, etc.). This provision shall not apply to those employees hired on or after 24 July 1990.

Appropriate foreign language classes offered through the UAW Education Fund satisfy the Employer's obligation to provide language training. Employees shall be granted release time of up to 2 hours per week for a total of twelve (12) weeks per year for language training sessions occurring outside of regular work hours (i.e., not between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). Such release time shall be taken within the same work week as it is accrued.

The Company shall provide instructors (indeterminate and term instructors in excess of four (4) years at refresher training which shall include one (1) training opportunity every three (3) years at an appropriate facility to be determined by the Company. Time spent during training shall be considered as time worked. All reasonable costs for this program shall be paid by the Company in accordance with the CANADA Travel Guidelines. In the event that the Company closes both the administrative and teaching facilities at for all or a portion of the holiday season (December to January inclusively), and the Company does not assign an instructor appropriate alternative work, he or she shall not be required to take leave.
Language Training. (1) If the general manager and the deputy general manager of XX xxxxx it necessary for a DME to learn Chinese for work purpose, JV shall bear all fees pertinent to such employee’s training.
(2) If it is necessary for the family of a DME to learn Chinese, [***] shall be offered to each person until one year elapses, commencing on the date of receiving training. If _________(Country)ese is not the language used in the school, JV shall offer [***] to each person with respect to each language. However, JV shall not bear fees for training if JV provides DME and his family with gratuitous language training.
Language Training. Nalco recognizes the necessity for the expatriate to speak and understand the language of the host country. Therefore, if necessary, Nalco will reimburse the cost for up to 100 hours of language training at a course approved by Nalco.
