– Leachate/Condensate Handling. Documentation Weekly, Golder will remove leachate from the Xxxxx 0X leachate collection pipe and transfer it to the leachate holding tank located near the Phase 1 gravity drain leachate collection pipe discharge. The amount collected will be documented. Subsequently, the leachate will be discharged to the Burbank Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) with a daily limit of 700 gallons. We have assumed this will continue up to the Fall of 2021. After this time it is believed that the Phase 2D/2E base liner system will be completed and leachate will then gravity drain to the Burbank POTW. Additionally, Golder will weekly collect landfill gas generated condensate that accumulates in dead leg piping. The condensate is collected in buckets and discharged into the landfill gas main header which pulls the condensate to the landfill gas flare system where it is separated from the landfill gas in the condensate sump. Once the condensate reaches the sump, it is discharged into the flare and evaporated.
