General Engineering Services. General engineering services for the landfill will include City requests for studies or routine annual permit submittals such as the submittal of the yearly topographic map to the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA). Other services such as regulatory support, update of the site capacity and service life, and support on operational issues will also be included within this task of work. Provided below are subtasks that further explain the services to be provided under this task.

General Engineering Services. The CONSULTANT shall attend CLIENT staff meetings as requested and shall be available for office hours to provide a resource to staff for engineering related issues. The CONSULTANT will review with MNDOT and Xxxxx County any changes to the highway system within the City, safety programs, technology or specifications changes or other directives received from MNDOT or Xxxxx County. General engineering services will be provided at a reduced rate in accordance with Section III. CONSULTANT will advise and assist CLIENT regarding Municipal State Aid opportunities. Inasmuch as State law requires municipalities over 5,000 population to have a designated registered professional engineer as City Engineer to be eligible for Municipal State Aid funds, the CONSULTANT will represent the CLIENT at required meetings with State Aid staff and other city engineers for administration of the Municipal State Aid system.
