LEAD PIPES. The owner(s) makes no representations with respect to whether the property contains any pipe, pipe or plumbing fitting, fixture, solder, or flux that does not meet the federal Safe Drinking Water Act definition oflead free” pursuant to 42 U.S.C § 300g-6, and purchasers are advised to exercise whatever due diligence they deem necessary to determine whether the property contains any pipe, pipe or plumbing fitting, fixture, solder, or flux that does not meet the federal Safe Drinking Water Act definition of “lead free,” in accordance with terms and conditions as may be contained in the real estate purchase contract, but in any event prior to settlement pursuant to such contract.

LEAD PIPES a. Where specified, lead pipes shall be used for waste and connections to anti- siphonage pipes and W.C. connections.
LEAD PIPES.  Lead pipes shall be of solid drawn lead. the size mentioned being their internal diameter and shall conform to the requirements of Indian Standard Specification.  The weight for the various bores shall be as follows: 100 dia. 75 dia. 65 dia. 50 dia. -11.4 kg per m -8.5 kg per m -7.2 kg per m -6 kg per m for soil waste, anti-siphonage and vent 40 dia. -4.47 kg per m 40 dia. -6 kg per m for 32 dia. -4.47 kg per m flushing & 15 dia. -1.5 kg per m washing pipes 25 dia. -6.2 kg per m supply and 20 dia. -4.47 kg per m distribution 15 dia -3 kg per m pipes  The joints between the lead pipes and other fitting shall be made with brass thimbles and tail pipes and jointing shall be with wiped solder joints.

  • Firefighters Any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be regularly and routinely staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters for the period of time that the aerial ladder is inoperative, or until such time as the truck with the inoperative aerial ladder is replaced with a truck with an operative aerial ladder. At 0800 and 2000 hours, all trucks shall be staffed with one (1) officer and four (4) firefighters, and any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters.

  • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Irrigation An irrigation reduced pressure zone (hereinafter referred to as “RPZ”) is required for any irrigation systems and must be installed by the Developer and/or eventual lot owner and tested in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines for Designing Backflow Prevention Assembly Installations (hereinafter referred to as “Guidelines”). The initial test results and certification shall be submitted to the City of Maple Grove Public Works Department. Subsequently, the RPZ must be tested, per the Guidelines, at least annually by a certified tester with the results reported to the City of Maple Grove Building Department and the RPZ must be rebuilt as needed in accordance with the Guidelines. Test/rebuilt reports shall be mailed or faxed to the City of Maple Grove Building Department at (000) 000-0000. The irrigation system shall be designed, and the Plans shall be modified accordingly, prior to the issuance of any permits for the development of the Property, to accommodate a 1-inch water meter and a maximum flow of 50 gallons per minute.

  • Illumination The Engineer shall refer to TxDOT’s Highway Illumination Manual and other deemed necessary State approved manuals for design of continuous lighting and safety lighting for all conventional, high-mast, and underpass lighting. The Engineer shall include safety lighting as part of each design on each flashing beacon and traffic signal. The Engineer shall provide a preliminary layout for initial review and approval by the State. The Engineer shall prepare circuit wiring diagrams showing the number of luminaries on each circuit, electrical conductors, length of runs, service pole assemblies. Underpass lighting must be used on all structures within each project. The Engineer shall integrate existing illumination within the project limits into the proposed design. The Engineer shall coordinate with the State to determine the location of proposed high-mast, conventional, and underpass lighting.

  • Fire Fighting Costs of operating and maintaining the fire-fighting equipments and personnel, if any.
