Common use of Lease Rental Credit Clause in Contracts

Lease Rental Credit. When authorized in writing by City prior to the commencement of any work, Lessee may be granted credit against current or future rent; provided the work accomplished on or off the leased area results in increased valuation of the leased or other city and borough-owned lands. The authorization may stipulate type of work, standards of construction and the maximum allowable credit for the specific project. Title to improvements or chattels credited against rent under this section shall vest immediately and be in City and shall not be removed by Lessee upon termination of the lease.
