Leave Day. Employees covered herein who, as a result of their assignment, are required to be absent from Los Angeles County for a period of twenty-five (25) consecutive calendar days or more shall receive one-half (½) day leave at regular pay, for each weekend spent out of Los Angeles County as a result of their assignment, subject to a limit of eight (8) days per employee per fiscal year. In addition, employees absent from Los Angeles County for a period of thirty-five (35) consecutive calendar days or more shall receive an additional one (1) full day leave at regular pay.
