Common use of Leave for Court and Jury Attendance Clause in Contracts

Leave for Court and Jury Attendance. When an Employee is officially summoned to be present at the courthouse for jury duty or is under subpoena to appear in court or before an administrative tribunal on a matter related to his job duties, he shall be granted leave with pay for such purposes. In the case of jury duty, the amount of pay shall be the difference between his daily rate of pay and the amount allowed by the court for jury duty.
