When an employee is required to seek shelter from an abusive spouse or enters a rehabilitation program for drug or alcohol abuse, the employee may request, upon presentation of suitable verification, to: a) Draw on unexpended sick leave credits. b) Vacation leave. c) Be granted a leave of absence without pay.
