LEAVE OF ABSENCE FROM WORK. Clause 15.01 (a) Employees will be allowed three (3) days leave with pay for the purpose of attending deaths in their immediate family. The provisions of Article 15.01 (a) –Bereavement Leave shall not apply to an employee who is in receipt of benefits under the Sick Leave provisions outlined in Article 13 of this collective agreement. (c) The Employer agrees that employees will be entitled to use a vacation day or a lieu day to attend the funeral of an aunt, uncle, niece or nephew.
