LEAVE RESULTING FROM JURY DUTY OR IN RESPONSE TO SUBPOENA. Teachers shall be granted leave for jury service or as a witness subpoenaed in a criminal, civil or juvenile proceeding. The District shall pay full contract salary to said personnel during such service. Any money earned during jury duty shall be endorsed back to the District. Any teacher claiming leave as a result of his or her receipt of a subpoena shall be responsible for presenting a copy of the subpoena to support the request for leave.

  • If You Fail to Sign Lease After Approval Unless we authorize otherwise in writing, you and all co-applicants must execute the Lease after your Application is approved. If you or any co-applicant fails to sign as required, we may keep the application deposit as liquidated damages and terminate all further obligation to each other.

  • RESPONDENT LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY The Respondent shall be liable for all damages to government-owned, leased, or occupied property and equipment caused by the Respondent and its employees, agents, subcontractors, and suppliers, including any delivery or cartage company, in connection with any performance pursuant to the Contract.   • Termination in relation to Official Secrets Act The Authority may terminate this Framework Agreement by serving notice on the Supplier in writing with effect from the date specified in such notice where the Supplier is in breach of its obligations under Clause 21 (Official Secrets Acts).

  • Compensation for Damages or Losses When investments by investors of either Contracting Party suffer damages or losses owing to war, armed conflict, a state of national emergency, revolt, insurrection, riot or other similar events in the territory of the other Contracting Party, they shall be accorded by the latter Contracting Party a treatment, as regards compensation or other settlement, not less favourable than that accorded to its own investors or to investors of any Third State.
