Leave to Attend Hearings. Individual employee grievants shall be granted leave with pay for such time as is necessary to testify at arbitration hearings. Leave with pay shall be granted to three (3) employees who are named grievants in a group arbitration proceeding, for such time as is necessary for them to testify at their group arbitration hearings. Leave with pay for such time as is necessary to testify at their hearings shall be granted to employees who, after final adjudication of proceedings under Section 210, paragraph 2h of the Civil Service Law are determined not to have been in violation of Section 210.

Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.
