Legal Authority and Capacity. 6.2.1. You represent and warrant that (i) you have the legal authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and perform all obligations hereunder, (ii) the delivery and performance of this Agreement have been duly and validly authorized; and
Legal Authority and Capacity. The Contractor certifies that it possesses the legal authority to accept grant funds under the Rhode Island Community Development Block Grant Program and to execute the program described in this Contract Agreement by signing Part I: Contract Agreement Signatory Sheet. The Contractor certifies it has the local administrative capacity to manage the funded program in accordance with applicable federal and State rules and regulations. If the Contractor currently lacks this capacity, it will take necessary steps to assure it is obtained prior to obligating or expending funds awarded.
