  • Customs Cooperation 1. The Parties shall enhance their cooperation in customs and customs-related matters. 2. The Parties affirm their commitment to the facilitation of the legitimate movement of goods and shall exchange expertise on measures to improve customs techniques and procedures and on computerized systems in accordance with this Agreement. 3. The Parties shall assist each other, in the areas within their competence, in the manner and under the conditions set out in this Chapter to ensure that the customs legislation is correctly applied, in particular by preventing, detecting, and investigating operations in breach of that legislation. 4. The Parties shall commit to: (a) pursuing the harmonization of documentation used in trade and data elements in accordance with international standards, for purposes of facilitating the flow of trade between them, in customs-related matters regarding the importation, exportation, and transit of goods; (b) intensifying cooperation between their customs laboratories and scientific departments and working towards the harmonization of customs laboratories methods ; (c) exchanging customs' experts of the Parties; (d) jointly organizing training programs on customs-related issues for the officials who participate directly in customs procedures; (e) developing effective mechanisms for communicating with the trade and business communities; (f) assisting each other, to the extent possible, in tariff classification, valuation, and determination of origin, for the preferential tariff treatment of imported goods, and other customs matters including non- preferential origin; (g) promoting strong and efficient intellectual property rights enforcement by customs authorities, regarding imports, exports, re-exports, transit, transshipments, and other customs procedures, and in particular regarding counterfeit goods; and (h) improving the security, while facilitating trade, of sea-container and other shipments from all locations that are imported into, trans-shipped through, or transiting Korea or Peru. The Parties agree that the objectives of the intensified and broadened cooperation include, but are not limited to: (i) working together to reinforce the customs- related aspects for securing the logistics chain of international trade; and (ii) coordinating positions, to the extent possible, in any multilateral fora where issues related to container security may be appropriately raised and discussed.

  • Monthly Billing Statements The Engineer shall request reimbursement of costs incurred by submitting the original and one copy of an itemized billing statement in a form acceptable to the State. The Engineer is authorized to submit requests for reimbursement no more frequently than monthly and no later than ninety (90) days after costs are incurred.

  • Payment of Monthly Bills 10.3.1 SECI shall pay the amount payable under the Monthly Bill/Supplementary Bill by the Due Date to such account of the SPD, as shall have been previously notified by the SPD as below. 10.3.2 All payments required to be made under this Agreement shall also include any deduction or set off for: i) deductions required by the Law; and ii) amount claimed by SECI, if any, from the SPD, will be adjusted from the monthly energy payment. In case of any excess payment adjustment, the interest applicable will be same as rate of Late Payment surcharge will be applicable on day to day basis. The SPD shall open a bank account (the “SPD’s Designated Account") for all Tariff Payments (including Supplementary Bills) to be made by SECI to the SPD, and notify SECI of the details of such account at least ninety (90) Days before the dispatch of the first Monthly Bill. SECI shall also designate a bank account at New Delhi ("SECI Designated Account") for payments to be made by the SPD to SECI, if any, and notify the SPD of the details of such account ninety (90) Days before the SCSD. SECI and the SPD shall instruct their respective bankers to make all payments under this Agreement to the SPD’s Designated Account or SECI’s Designated Account, as the case may be, and shall notify either Party of such instructions on the same day.

  • Payment of Bills Except as otherwise indicated herein or on the Service Order(s), Comcast will invoice Customer in advance on a monthly basis for all monthly recurring Service charges and fees arising under the Agreement. All other charges will be billed monthly in arrears. Customer shall make payment to Comcast for all invoiced amounts within thirty (30) days after the date of the invoice. Any amounts not paid to Comcast within such period will be considered past due. If a Service Commencement Date is not the first day of a billing period, Xxxxxxxx’s next monthly invoice shall include a prorated charge for the Services, from the date of installation to the first day of the new billing. In certain cases, Comcast may agree to provide billing services on behalf of third parties, as the agent of the third party. Any such third-party charges shall be payable pursuant to any contract or other arrangement between Customer and the third party. Comcast shall not be responsible for any dispute regarding these charges between Xxxxxxxx and such third party. Customer must address all such disputes directly with the third party.

  • Criminal Records Bureau Checks The Academy shall comply with the requirements of paragraph 4 of the Schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) (England) Regulations 2003 (as amended) in relation to carrying out enhanced criminal records checks, obtaining enhanced criminal records certificates and making any further checks, as required and appropriate for members of staff, supply staff, individual Governors and the Chair of the Governing Body.

  • COMPTROLLER’S REPORT ON CHAPTER 313 AGREEMENTS During the term of this Agreement, both Parties shall provide the Comptroller with all information reasonably necessary for the Comptroller to assess performance under this Agreement for the purpose of issuing the Comptroller’s report, as required by Section 313.032 of the TEXAS TAX CODE.

  • Internships The Hospital may establish internships for the purpose of meeting future projected nursing shortages and/or providing career opportunities where there are no internal qualified candidates for job postings. In such circumstances, the implementation and guidelines of such an arrangement will be determined locally by the Hospital and the Union subject to the following: Internships are designed to develop the Hospital’s staff in order to fill positions for which there are currently no qualified internal candidates and/or for which shortages are predicted within a five (5) year period. Internships enable hospitals to maximize the use of qualified internal staff to meet their human resources needs, while at the same time providing career development opportunities for their employees. To provide direction to the local parties in developing and implementing internship(s) the Ontario Nurses’ Association and Participating Hospitals have agreed to the following principles: (a) The Hospital will establish the expectations for each internship opportunity; (b) There will be an open application process for internship opportunities; (c) The opportunities will be open to currently employed nurses who can demonstrate continuous learning, and a commitment to the Hospital; (d) Nurses who are selected for internship opportunities will commit to continued employment on a mutually determined basis; (e) Initiatives to support selected candidates may include but are not limited to: i) No loss of regular wages while attending a requisite course ii) Paid course fees iii) Paid time for clinical practicums in the Hospital or another clinical site iv) Any other initiatives, as agreed. (f) Part-time nurses will be credited with seniority and service for all such hours paid while participating in these initiatives as provided above.

  • Disputed Bills In the event of a dispute between a tenant and an owner regarding any bill, the owner shall investigate the matter and report the results of the investigation to the tenant in writing. The investigation and report must be completed within 30 days from the date the tenant gives written notification of the dispute to the owner.
