Legal - Student / Guardian Obligation. All devices are District property and are therefore subject to State and Federal Law in regards to theft and vandalism. The District will pursue any device that has not been appropriately returned to the District as Theft. August 15, 2018 Dear Parent/Guardian, We are very excited to be starting the new school year, especially since we are continuing our 1:1 Chromebook initiative for ALL High School students. The Chromebook is another educational tool like a textbook or pencil and is intended to facilitate individual learning needs of our students. We believe in providing tools to students to help prepare them for a 21st century work force and a higher education environment that is inundated with technology. Chromebooks will be distributed out to students the first full week of school, the week of August 20th, 2018. The nonrefundable usage fee for the Chromebook for the school year will be $40 and payment for the device will be required the week of Chromebook distribution. In order to receive a Chromebook, you must complete and return this signature page of the Chromebook Parent Student Contract.   • Obligations of Registry Operator to TLD Community Registry Operator shall establish registration policies in conformity with the application submitted with respect to the TLD for: (i) naming conventions within the TLD, (ii) requirements for registration by members of the TLD community, and (iii) use of registered domain names in conformity with the stated purpose of the community-­‐based TLD. Registry Operator shall operate the TLD in a manner that allows the TLD community to discuss and participate in the development and modification of policies and practices for the TLD. Registry Operator shall establish procedures for the enforcement of registration policies for the TLD, and resolution of disputes concerning compliance with TLD registration policies, and shall enforce such registration policies. Registry Operator agrees to implement and be bound by the Registry Restrictions Dispute Resolution Procedure as set forth at xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/en/resources/registries/rrdrp with respect to disputes arising pursuant to this Section 2.19. Registry Operator shall implement and comply with the community registration policies set forth on Specification 12 attached hereto.

  • Child Support Obligation Under Section 231.006(d) of the Texas Family Code regarding child support, Contractor certifies that the individual or business entity named in this Contract and any related Solicitation Response is not ineligible to receive the specified payment and acknowledges that the Contract may be terminated and payment may be withheld if this certification is inaccurate.

  • Professional Obligations An employee's professional obligation comprises both scheduled and non-scheduled activities. It is a part of the professional responsibility of employees to carry out their duties in an appropriate manner and place. For example, while instructional activities, office hours, student advising, and certain other duties and responsibilities, may be required to be performed at a specific time and place, other non-scheduled activities are more appropriately performed in a manner and place determined by the employee in consultation with his/her supervisor.

  • Using Student feedback in Educator Evaluation ESE will provide model contract language, direction and guidance on using student feedback in Educator Evaluation by June 30, 2013.   • Payment of Extraordinary Education Related Expenses Section 5.1. PAYMENT OF EXTRAORDINARY EDUCATION-RELATED EXPENSES. In addition to the amounts determined pursuant to Articles IV and VI of this Agreement, Applicant on an annual basis shall also indemnify and reimburse District for all non-reimbursed costs, certified by the District’s external auditor to have been incurred by the District for extraordinary education-related expenses directly and solely related to the project that are not directly funded in state aid formulas, including expenses for the purchase of portable classrooms and the hiring of additional personnel to accommodate a temporary increase in student enrollment caused directly by such project. Applicant shall have the right to contest the findings of the District’s external auditor pursuant to Section 4.9 above.
