Common use of Legal Wards Clause in Contracts

Legal Wards. Children who are legal wards of the subscriber or spouse and meet all stated eligibility requirements will be accepted for coverage when we receive the completed application or notification of enrollment through The Exchange and copies of the final court-ordered guardianship. The effective date will be the date of the guardianship order if the approved application is received within 60 days of that date. Otherwise, coverage will become effective as described under General Eligibility Requirements.
