LEGISLATIVE SESSION Clause Samples

A Legislative Session clause defines the period during which a legislative body formally convenes to conduct its business. This clause typically specifies the start and end dates of the session, outlines the frequency of meetings, and may address procedures for calling special sessions. By clearly establishing the operational timeframe for legislative activities, the clause ensures orderly governance and helps prevent ambiguity regarding when laws can be proposed, debated, or enacted.
