Length of Service Vacation. 1 year 1 week (5 working days) 4 years 2 weeks (10 working days + one additional day per year) 9 years 3 weeks (15 working days) 14 years 18 working days 19 years 4 weeks (20 working days) Any employee who has 24+ years will retain their vacation days. Vacation will be capped at 19 years for all other employees. Vacation is a benefit which becomes available on the first day of the fiscal year in which it is to be used. To be eligible for the first year's vacation, a newly hired employee must have been employed as of January 1.
