LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING - Cumulative Sick Leave. ‌ Notwithstanding Article 26.0 (Cumulative Sick Leave), employees who, as of the date of ratification, have accumulated more than two hundred fifty (250) sick leave days shall be allowed to retain their accumulated days. However, no more than 250 days may be used towards their retirement gratuity. Should those employees‟ accumulated total decrease through use to less than two hundred fifty (250) days, then they will be governed by the Collective Agreement provisions for accumulation thereafter.
