Pregnancy and Parental. The Employer shall grant pregnancy and parental leave in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Employment Standards Act.
Pregnancy and Parental leave provisions shall be those which are stipulated under the Ontario Employment Standards Act.
Pregnancy and Parental. A female employee shall be entitled to pregnancy leave and parental leave in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, except that such leaves in combination may be for up to fifty-two (52) weeks in total.
Pregnancy and Parental. Leaves shall be in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. The current, relevant provisions of the Act are appended to this Collective Agreement.
Pregnancy and Parental. Adoption Leave will be granted in accordance with the applicable legislation in the province where the employee is headquartered. Such leave of absence may be extended by mutual agreement upon application by the employee, without pay.
Pregnancy and Parental. 1. The employee is entitled to pregnancy and parental leave of up to seventeen (17) weeks before and/or after the birth of a child, or such time as is provided by Employment Standards Act, whichever is greater. Such period shall include any period during which Employment Insurance benefits are paid.
2. Pregnancy or parental leave shall be unpaid except that the employee shall receive regular pay during the waiting period for Employment Insurance parental benefits. The employee may also have entitlement to a Maternity SUB plan as set out in this contract.
3. The employee shall retain full employment status while on pregnancy or parental leave and accumulate all such benefits to which the employee is entitled under this contract.
4. The employee shall provide the employer with at least two weeks written notice of return to work after pregnancy or parental leave.
5. In addition to pregnancy leave the employee is entitled to unpaid parental leave of up to thirty five (35) weeks or as allowed by legislation.
Pregnancy and Parental. Entitlement to leaves under this Article will be in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
Pregnancy and Parental leave to comply with Employment Insurance and Employment Standards Act. If an employee does not notify the Employer in writing of her intent to return to work and does not return to work upon the expiration of her leave, she shall be considered as having terminated her employment.
Pregnancy and Parental leave without pay shall be granted according to the Employment Standards Act. The employee agrees that the Employer shall be informed of the date of commencement of the leave and the date of return to work. In the event a medical certificate is provided by the doctor of the employee, she shall be allowed to commence her maternity leave.
Pregnancy and Parental. Adoption Leave shall be included in the calculation of a member’s length of service.
