Common use of Level 3-Superintendent/Designee Clause in Contracts

Level 3-Superintendent/Designee. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Xxxxx 0, the faculty member may, within ten (10) days, appeal the decision to the Superintendent or his/her designee. This written appeal statement shall include a copy of the original grievance, the appeals, and the decisions rendered at the previous levels, and a clear, concise statement of the reasons for the appeal. The Superintendent or his/her designee shall communicate a written decision within fifteen (15) days. Within the forgoing time limit, either party may request a conference to discuss the grievance.
