Common use of Level Three – School Board Clause in Contracts

Level Three – School Board. a. If the grieving employee is not satisfied with the disposition of his grievance at Level Two, or if no decision has been rendered within ten (10) days after the grievance was delivered to the Superintendent, he shall within five (5) days after a decision by the Superintendent or fifteen (15) days after the grievance was delivered to the Superintendent request in writing a hearing by the Board at the next regular meeting. Providing a minimum of ten (10) days elapses before the next regular meeting, a hearing will be held by the Board of a committee of the Board at that meeting. b. Within ten (10) days of the hearing, the Board shall inform the grieving employee and bargaining agent of their decision and shall provide same with a written statement of the reason for the decision.
