School Board. Any reference to School Board or District in this Agreement shall mean the District and/or its designated officials.
School Board. The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, the duly- elected Board established under Florida Statutes, Chapter 230.03(2), which has the responsibility for the organization and control of the public schools of Miami-Dade County.
School Board. For purposes of administering this Agreement, the term "School Board" may also mean the designated representative.
School Board. Within ten (10) working days after receipt of the above disposition, if the grievance remains unresolved, the grievant may appeal to the school board. The board shall hold a formal hearing within fifteen (15) working days and serve a written disposition of the matter on the party or parties and the LEA within fifteen (15) working days after the hearing.
School Board. If the grievant or the Association is not satisfied with the decision at Step II, or if no decision has been rendered within ten (10) working days after presentation of the grievance, then the grievance within ten (10) working days may be referred to the Board of Trustees. The Chairman of the Board shall arrange for a hearing with the grievant to take place at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board will have fourteen
School Board. The School Board of Saint Lucie County, the duly elected Board established under Section 1001.32 (2) which has the responsibility for the reorganization and control of the public school of Saint Lucie County.
School Board. A copy of the agenda for each regular meeting of the Board shall be available 2 to the Association at least 7 days before the Board meeting and a copy of the minutes of such 3 meetings shall be available to the Association after approval by the Board.
School Board. If no satisfactory settlement is reached at Step 2, the grievance may be appealed to Step 3 within seven (7) school days after receiving the disposition of the Superintendent or after the above stated time limits have expired. The grievance may then be submitted to the Board. If the grievance is submitted to the Board, the Board within ten (10) school days shall meet with the grievant, the Association representative, and the Superintendent to review such grievance in executive session or give such grievance the consideration as it shall deem appropriate. The disposition by the Board shall be made to the grievant in writing within five (5) school days of the meeting. A notification of such disposition shall be furnished the grievant, the Association, and the immediate supervisor.
School Board. If the grievance reaches the School Board,
1. The written grievance with additional reasons must be addressed to the President of the Board and must be delivered to the Superintendent who shall forward it to the President of the Board.
2. The grievant(s) must meet with the Board in executive session to discuss the grievance on the date of the next regular Board meeting when a legal executive session can be held.
3. The final disposition will be made by the Board and the Board’s written disposition will be made and delivered to the grievant(s) no later than five (5) days after the executive session.
School Board. The Xxxxx County School Board, the duly-elected Board established under the Florida Constitution, Article IX, Section 4, and Florida Statues, which has the responsibility for the organization and control of the public schools of Xxxxx County.
