Liaison Officer's Training Courses. Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to a reasonable number of employees who exercise the authority of a Liaison Officer on behalf of the Union to undertake training related to the duties of a Liaison Officer. The employer will maintain the salary and benefits of the employee during such leave of absence. The Union agrees to reimburse the employer for the employee’s compensation for such leave including salary, benefits and employer’s share of such benefits. The Union will prepare a list of employees who are liaison officers, updated from time to time, and shall provide same to the Employer throughout the year. This list shall include the employee’s name, classification, department and location.
