Common use of License to Customer Data Clause in Contracts

License to Customer Data. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Customer hereby grants Forward Networks non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable (except as expressly permitted under this Agreement), non-sublicensable (except as expressly permitted under this Agreement), worldwide license to reproduce, store, display and use any of Customer Data: (a) during the Term, to provide the Solution to Customer; (b) on an irrevocable, perpetual basis, for product improvement, research and development, operations management, testing and troubleshooting and for other commercial purposes. Forward Networks will have the right to permit it subcontractors to exercise the foregoing rights, provided that Forward Networks will be responsible for any breach of this Agreement caused by any subcontractors.
