Lieutenants Acting as Captains. Lieutenants assigned to act as Captain shall be compensated according to the chart below for all hours worked during the duration of the assignment. An acting captain is normally designated and assigned when the regular Captain is absent from their station for more than three (3) consecutive shifts.
