Consecutive Shifts. (a) The Employer will endeavour, where possible, to provide that no Employee is scheduled to work more than seven (7) consecutive days in a two (2) week period. This does not preclude shift arrangements, acceptable to both the Employer and the Employee(s), in variance to the foregoing.
Consecutive Shifts. (a) Nurses shall not be required to work more than seven (7) consecutive seven and one-half (7.5) hour shifts or five (5) consecutive night or evening shifts between days off, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
Consecutive Shifts. An employee who volunteers or is required to work a second consecutive shift may request the Employer to fill the latter half of the shift with another employee. In such cases, the Employer shall follow the processes defined in this Section 5.2.8 in filling the remaining hours of the shift.

For purposes of this section only, staffing deficiencies which cannot be reasonably anticipated by the Employer shall be considered as emergency circumstances.
