Permission to Leave Work. The Employer agrees that stewards shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of their duties, while investigating disputes and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article. The Union recognizes that each xxxxxxx is employed by the Employer and that they will not leave their work during working hours except to perform their duties under this Agreement. Therefore, no xxxxxxx shall leave their work without permission of their supervisor, which will not be unreasonably withheld.

Permission to Leave Work. The Employer agrees that the Xxxxxxx will not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of the Xxxxxxx’x duties, while investigating disputes, and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article. The Union recognizes that the Xxxxxxx is employed to perform full time work for the Employer and that the Xxxxxxx will not leave work during working hours except to perform the duties under this Agreement. Therefore, the xxxxxxx shall not leave the Xxxxxxx’x work without obtaining the permission of the Xxxxxxx’x supervisor, which permission shall not be withheld unjustly.
Permission to Leave Work. It is agreed that the Union's shop stewards shall not absent themselves from their departments for the purpose of handling grievances without first obtaining permission from their Director/Manager or designate and that permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
Permission to Leave Work. The Employer agrees that the grievor and Union Representative may leave assigned duties temporarily in order to discuss matters related to a grievance. The grievor and Union Representative shall request permission of their supervisor(s) and suitable arrangements shall be made by the supervisor(s) prior to the Employees leaving. The matter shall be dealt with as promptly as possible while on work time. c) No employee, xxxxxxx, or elected Union Representative shall suffer loss of pay by reason of time spent with the Employer to discuss grievances or complaints.

Permission to Leave Work. Union Stewards and members of the Grievance Committee shall be permitted time off to handle grievances without loss of pay, provided they have first sought and obtained permission from their immediate supervisor to absent themselves from their regular duties for that purpose, which permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Therefore, no Xxxxxxx shall leave his/her work without the permission of his/her supervisor, whose permission shall be given within an hour. Such approval shall not be unreasonably denied. The stewards will not suffer any loss of wages, seniority or benefits during such approved meeting(s) with the Employer or for short preparation time with the Employee concerned.
