Life Jackets. Any person under the age of 13 must wear a life jacket at all times while on the boat. All persons must wear life jackets while swimming from the boat.
Life Jackets. Children 10 years old or younger must wear a life jacket at all times in any craft on New Hampshire waters. In addition, the traditional boat cushion is no longer considered a legal floatation device. Only wearable life jackets are acceptable. The law does not require recreational boaters (except children) to wear life jackets, but they must be available for each occupant of all watercraft. Please plan accordingly, as life jackets are not always supplied. It is illegal to transport ANY aquatic plants on a vehicle, boat, personal watercraft, trailer, or other equipment. Check and remove all plants and plant parts from boats, motors, etc., before and after launching.

Contractors must provide its employees with a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket or buoyant work vest whenever contractors are working in areas where there is the potential for falling into a river, lake, forebay, and headwater or where the danger of drowning exists. Such jackets or vests must be worn at all times and fastened properly to ensure adequate protection.

Life Jackets. Participants must carry properly fitted Coast Guard approved Type IV Personal Floatation Devices. Members should bring their own. For guests, PFDs are located in the bins on the back porch. Please return to the proper bin.
Life Jackets. Each Participant must wear a United States Coast Guard (USCG)-approved life jacket (personal floatation device) at all times in which the Participant is in the water while participating in the Activity.

Life Jackets. Gary’s Pontoon Rental Services includes the use of some life jackets. Jackets are available in many common sizes for adults and teens. There may not be appropriate- sized life jackets for infants, toddlers, and small children. It is strongly recommended that RENTER brings their own life jackets for their small children, toddlers, and infants or other passengers with special accommodations needed for appropriate safety equipment. Gary’s Pontoon will not be liable for those not wearing appropriate safety gear and will consider it a breech of contract if there are any passengers on board without appropriate safety gear.
