Common use of Light Duty/Modified Return to Work Clause in Contracts

Light Duty/Modified Return to Work. An employee on worker’s compensation leave, light duty or modified return to work that cannot perform the essential functions of their job shall not have the right to bump. The employee shall retain the right to bump back into the department under Article 15 once medically released to return to work.
