Common use of Limitation of the Permanent Arbitrator’s Authority Clause in Contracts

Limitation of the Permanent Arbitrator’s Authority. The decision of the Permanent Arbitrator shall be specifically limited to the matter submitted to him and he shall have no authority to amend, alter or change any provision of this Agreement in any manner. In addition to any Rules of Procedure of the Committee presently in effect or which may be adopted in the future, the Permanent Arbitrator shall be governed by the following provisions:
