Limitation of Unused Vacation Leave Balances. Effective, January 1, 2001, unit members may accrue vacation leave balances up to a maximum of two (2) times the unit member’s annual vacation accrual rate as of the pay period containing January 1 of each year. Should the unit member’s vacation leave balance exceed the allowable amount, the unit member will cease to accrue vacation leave until such time as the vacation balance is reduced below the maximum allowable balance.
