Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. An employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each calendar month during which the employee receives pay for at least ten (10) days at the following rate:
Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay;

31.1.1.4 fifteen decimal six two five (15.625) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s eighteenth (18th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.5 sixteen decimal eight seven five (16.875) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty- third (23rd) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.6 eighteen decimal seven five (18.75) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty-eighth (28th) anniversary of service occurs.
Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. 31.1.1 An employee to whom Schedules 2 (Supervisory) and 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 (Non- supervisory) of the Pay Schedules apply shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:
31.1.1.1 nine decimal three seven five (9.375) hours until the month in which the anniversary of the employee's eighth (8th) year of service occurs;
31.1.1.2 twelve decimal five (12.5) hours commencing with the month in which the employee's eighth (8th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.3 thirteen decimal seven five (13.75) hours commencing with the month in which the employee's sixteenth (16th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.4 fourteen decimal three seven five (14.375) hours commencing with the month in which the employee's seventeenth (17th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.5 fifteen decimal six two five (15.625) hours commencing with the month in which the employee's eighteenth (18th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.6 sixteen decimal eight seven five (16.875) hours commencing with the month in which the employee's twenty-seventh (27th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.1.7 eighteen decimal seven five (18.75) hours commencing with the month in which the employee's twenty-eighth (28th) anniversary of service occurs;
31.1.2 An employee to whom Schedules 3 (Supervisory) and 3 (Non-supervisory) of the Pay Schedules apply shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least eighty (80) hours’ pay:
Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. An employee who has earned at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay, during any calendar month of a vacation year shall earn vacation leave credits at the following rates in respect of that month:
(i) twelve decimal five (12.5) hours until the month in which the anniversary of the employee’s sixteenth (16th) year of service occurs;
(ii) Thirteen decimal seven five (13.75) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s sixteenth (16th) anniversary of service occurs;
(iii) fourteen decimal four (14.4) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s seventeenth (17th) anniversary of service occurs;
(iv) fifteen decimal six two five (15.625) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s eighteenth (18th) anniversary of service occurs;
(v) sixteen decimal eight seven five (16.875) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty-seventh (27th) anniversary of service occurs;
(vi) eighteen decimal seven five (18.75) hours’ commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty-eighth (28th) anniversary of service occurs;
Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. A regular employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each calendar year.
i) Commencing with the month in which his/her first (1st) anniversary of service occurs twenty (20) days;
ii) Commencing with the month in which his/her fifth (5th) anniversary of service occurs twenty-five (25) days;
iii) Thereafter, one (1) day per year to a maximum of thirty (30) days per year.
Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. An employee shall earn vacation leave credits at the following rate for each calendar month during which he or she receives pay for at least seventy-five (75) hours:
(a) nine decimal three seven five (9.375) hours until the month in which the anniversary of the employee’s eighth (8th) year of service occurs;
(b) twelve decimal five (12.5) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s eighth (8th) anniversary of service occurs;
(c) thirteen decimal one two five (13.125) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s fifteenth (15th) anniversary of service occurs;
(d) thirteen decimal seven five (13.75) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s sixteenth (16th) anniversary of service occurs;
(e) fourteen decimal three seven five (14.375) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s seventeenth (17th) anniversary of service occurs;
(f) fifteen decimal six two five (15.625) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s eighteenth (18th) anniversary of service occurs;
(g) sixteen decimal eight seven five (16.875) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty-seventh (27th) anniversary of service occurs;
(h) eighteen decimal seven five (18.75) hours commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty-eighth (28th) anniversary of service occurs.
(a) For the purpose of clause 19.02 only, all service within the Public Service whether continuous or discontinuous shall count toward vacation leave except where a person who, on leaving the Public Service, takes or has taken severance pay. However, the above exception shall not apply to an employee who receives severance pay on lay- off and is reappointed to the Public Service within one (1) year following the date of lay-off.
(b) For greater certainty, severance payments taken under Article 45.04 to 45.06, or similar provisions in other collective agreements, do not reduce the calculation of service for persons who have not yet left the Public Service.

d) for the purposes of article 17.02 only, any period of employment, continuous or otherwise, with the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer; the office of a Member of Parliament; the Senate; the House of Commons; the Library of Parliament; the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner; the Parliamentary Protective Service or the employers listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act, will be used to calculate annual leave credits, unless the employee, upon leaving the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer; the office of a Member of Parliament; the Senate; the House of Commons; the Library of Parliament; the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner; the Parliamentary Protective Service or the employers listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act, receives or has received severance pay. However, this exception shall not apply to an employee who receives severance pay after being laid off or who is reappointed to a position with the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer; the office of a Member of Parliament; the Senate; the House of Commons; the Library of Parliament; the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner; the Parliamentary Protective Service or the employers listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act in the year after being laid off. Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits. * An employee shall earn vacation leave credits at the following rate for each calendar month during which the employee receives pay for at least seventy (70) hours: * (a) * (b) * (c) eleven decimal sixty-six (11.66) hours per month until the month in which the employee’s fifteenth (15th) anniversary of continuous employment occurs; fourteen decimal fifty-eight (14.58) hours per month, commencing with the month in which the employee’s fifteenth (15th) anniversary of continuous employment occurs; and seventeen decimal five (17.5) hours per month, commencing with the month in which the employee’s twenty-eighth (28th) anniversary of continuous employment occurs.
(a) For the purpose of clause 26.02 only, all employment within the House of Commons, whether continuous or discontinuous, shall count toward vacation leave, except where an employee, on leaving the House of Commons, takes or has taken severance pay. However, the above exception shall not apply to an employee who receives severance pay on lay-off and is reappointed to the House of Commons within one year following the date of lay-off.
(b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), an employee’s currently recognized years of employment shall not be reduced by the implementation of this Article.
(c) Effective January 1, 2013, on a go forward basis, any service in the Canadian Forces for a continuous period of six months or more, either as a member of the Regular Force or of the Reserve Force while on Class B or C service, shall also be included in the calculation of vacation leave credits.
