Common use of Live Meter Maintenance Clause in Contracts

Live Meter Maintenance. Buyer acknowledges and understands that the SEF is installed behind the current electric utility meter located on the applicable Property (the “Meter”) and that the Meter remaining live is critical to the proper operation of the SEF. Therefore, Buyer agrees that, in the event Buyer defaults in an obligation to Client Agency’s Serving Utility or enters into any condition that threatens the live nature of the Meter, Seller shall have the unilateral and exclusive right to transfer the account for the Meter into Seller’s name for the duration of the Term.
