Location of Schools. All schools shall be located within the member towns.

Location of Schools. Regional district schools, essentially for grades five through twelve, consisting of a middle school and a secondary school, shall be located in the town of Huntington within a radius of one mile from the Norwich Bridge. All other schools shall be elementary schools and shall be located within the District. As Amended.
Location of Schools. Any new school constructed for the purpose of accommodating students primarily from a particular member town shall be located in that town.
Location of Schools. There shall be located in each of the member towns at least one elementary school, with grade configurations to be established by the Committee. The grade configurations of the middle school(s) and high school(s) of the District shall be established by the Committee, and the location of said middle school(s) and high school(s) will be as determined by the Committee, although said location will be within the member towns. Generally, students in the elementary grades will be assigned to the elementary school within the town in which that student resides. The school buildings may either be owned by the District or leased from the member towns under terms and conditions that will be expressed in lease agreements.

  • Operation of School a) Unless the School has already ceased operations, the Sponsor shall assume operation of the school throughout the pendency of the hearing under §§1002.33(8)(b)&(c), F.S., unless the continued operation of the School would materially threaten the health, safety, or welfare of the students. Failure by the Sponsor to assume and continue operation of the School shall result in the awarding of reasonable costs and attorney’s fees to the School if the School prevails on appeal.

The District will ensure that plans are implemented for each school in compliance with the requirements of the State Board pursuant to 1 CCR 301-1.
