Common use of Loop Clause in Contracts

Loop. 46.1. The definition of the loop network element includes all features, functions, and capabilities of the transmission facilities, including dark fiber and attached electronics (except those used for the provision of advanced services, such as DSLAMS) owned by Sprint, between a Sprint central office and the loop demarcation point at the customer premises. Terms and conditions for the provision of dark fiber are set forth in Section 54 of this Agreement. The demarcation point is that point on the loop where the telephone company’s control of the facility ceases, and the End User Customer’s control of the facility begins. This includes, but is not limited to, two-wire and four-wire copper analog voice-grade loops and two-wire and four-wire conditioned loops.
