Loss of Classification Seniority. The classification seniority of Employees shall be lost upon resignation, discharge, or retirement; or shall be lost one (1) year after that Employee changes job classifications within the bargaining unit.

The classification seniority Classification Seniority of Employees shall be lost 347 upon resignation, discharge, or retirement; or shall also be lost one (1) year after that the Employee 348 changes job classifications within the bargaining unit. This period will be extended to two (2) 349 years if the Employee is involuntarily transferred to a new classification by the District.
