Loss of Documents. Subject to all the terms conditions exclusions and provisions of this Policy, We extend to extend cover to any Damages resulting from a Claim for the loss of, Damage to or destruction of Documents for which You are legally responsible in the Provision of professional servicesand which cannot be found after diligent search, provided that: (a) the Damages recoverable under this Extension 4.3 is only limited to the reasonable and necessary costs, charges and expenses in replacing or restoring the Documents; and (b) the loss of, Damage to or destruction of such Documents was first discovered by You during the Period of insurance; and (c) the Claim for such costs, charges and expenses is supported by satisfactory proof of loss (including bills and accounts) which shall be subject to approval (which shall not be unreasonably withheld) by a competent person nominated by Us with Your approval; and (d) this Extension 4.3 shall not provide coverage for any costs, charges or expenses directly or indirectly relating to any Documents which have been destroyed, Damaged or lost as a result of fading, mould, vermin, pest infestation, wear, tear or the gradually operating causes. Our total liability under this Extension 4.3 shall not exceed the sub-limit specified in Item 6 (c) of the Schedule. The cover provided by this Extension 4.3 applies regardless of the Retroactive date. The excess does not apply to this Extension 4.3.

Total liability in respect of all Claims made under this extension shall not exceed limit as specified under the policy schedule.
Loss of Documents. If during the Period of Insurance the Insured discovers that any Documents entrusted to the Insured, which may now or hereafter be, or be supposed or believed to be, in the custody of the Insured or in the custody of any other person to or with whom such Documents have been entrusted, lodged or deposited by the Insured in the ordinary course of business, have been destroyed or damaged or lost or mislaid and after diligent search cannot be found, the Insurer will indemnify the Insured against any
Loss of Documents. Notwithstanding Exclusion 4. (d), the Company shall indemnify an Insured up to the amount set forth in Item 2. of the Schedule against: any Loss on account of any Claim made during the Policy Period due to loss of, or loss of use of, damage or destruction to Documents whilst in the custody of such Insured and for which such Insured is legally liable or whilst in the custody of any person to whom such Insured has entrusted them, or anywhere in transit; reasonable costs and expenses incurred by such Insured in replacing or restoring Documents that have been lost, damaged or destroyed as specified in paragraph (a) above. The Company shall not be liable for loss of, loss of use of, damage or destruction to Documents due to wear and tear, gradual deterioration, moth and vermin. No Deductible Amount applies to this extension. The Principal Organization shall submit, as a part of any proof of loss, all bills and accounts with respect to any lost, damaged or destroyed documents which shall be subject to approval by a competent person to be nominated by the Company with the Insured’s consent.
Loss of Documents. The Underwriters will indemnify the Insured for the reasonable and necessary costs and expenses incurred in replacing and restoring Documents that after a diligent search cannot be located or that have been destroyed, damaged, or distorted beyond reasonable use, provided that: (a) the Documents belong to the Insured, or the Insured is legally responsible for such Documents; (b) the Documents are in the custody of the Insured, or of any person to whom, or with whom, they have been entrusted, lodged or deposited by the Insured; (c) the Documents are used in connection with, or are related to, the performance of Professional Business Services; (d) the loss, destruction, damage or distortion of Documents is first discovered by the Insured during the Policy Period; and (e) the Insured provides the Underwriters with bills and accounts substantiating such costs and expenses, which shall be subject to approval by the Underwriters or by a competent person nominated by the Underwriters with the Insured’s consent. This coverage is subject to a Sublimit of Liability as specified in Item 5 of the Schedule. This Automatic Extension 2.5 is not subject to the Excess as set forth in Section 6.2.
Loss of Documents. 14.2.1 If this is explicitly stated in the policy schedule, this insurance also covers liability for compensation for damage resulting from destruction, damage or loss of documents of third parties that the insured holds in his capacity as described in the policy schedule; 14.2.2 In this extension, ‘damage’ means: all expenses incurred by the insured to replace or repair the documents. Chubb does not compensate damage caused by wear and tear; 14.2.3 This extension is subject to the deductible and sublimit (which is part of the total limit of indemnity) stated in the policy schedule.
Loss of Documents. Costs and expenses incurred by the ASSOCIATION in replacing or restoring LOST DOCUMENTS for which the ASSOCIATION is legally responsible if: a) The loss of the DOCUMENTS is first discovered during the INSURANCE PERIOD; b) The ASSOCIATION notifies US within 30 days of discovery of the loss of the DOCUMENTS; c) The ASSOCIATION provides US with bills and accounts substantiating the costs and expenses incurred by the ASSOCIATION in replacing or restoring the LOST DOCUMENTS; and d) WE approve, or a competent person nominated by US approves, the bills and accounts. OUR total liability under this extension for any one claim and in the aggregate from all claims during the INSURANCE PERIOD shall not exceed $500,000. This sub-limit is part of and not in addition to the INDEMNITY LIMIT.

Loss of Documents. Damage to, or loss of, or destruction of any Documents within the territorial limits of the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, during the Period of Insurance. Provided always that: (a) the Insured shall as soon as reasonably practicable after discovery thereof give written notice to Underwriters that any Documents have been destroyed, or damaged, or lost, or mislaid, and after diligent search cannot be found; (b) the amount claimed shall be supported by invoices or accounts which shall be subject to approval by a competent person to be nominated by Underwriters with the approval of the Insured, but failing approval, a competent person will be appointed by the current President of the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators of Australia; (c) there is no cover for loss, damage or destruction arising from or connected with wear, tear, vermin, mould or mildew or any other gradual operating cause; (d) the Insured shall subrogate to Underwriters their right of prosecution against any other person(s) for the recovery of the Documents or any such loss; (e) this cover does not indemnify the Insured against any liability, costs or expenses for which the Insured are entitled to an indemnity under any other part of this Contract.
Loss of Documents. If coverage for this Extension is specified in the Schedule, it is hereby agreed that if during the Period specified in the Schedule the Insured shall discover that any Documents (as hereinafter defined), the property of or entrusted to the Firm named in the Schedule or their predecessors in business which may now or hereafter be, or be supposed or believed to be, in the custody of the said Firm, or in the custody of any person in or with whom such Documents have been entrusted, lodged or deposited by the said Firm in the ordinary course of business, have while within the territorial limits specified in the Schedule been destroyed or damaged, or lost or mislaid and after diligent search cannot be found, the Company will a) indemnify the Insured against (i) legal liability of whatsoever nature which the Insured may incur other person in consequence of such Documents having been so destroyed, damaged, lost or mislaid and (ii) costs and expenses of whatsoever nature incurred by the Insured in replacing or restoring such Documents b) in addition, pay the costs and expenses incurred with the written consent of the Company in the defense or settlement of any claim to establish liability as described in 1(a) above, provided that, if a payment in excess of the amount of indemnity available under this Policy has to be made to dispose of a claim, the Company’s liability for such costs and expenses shall be such proportion thereof as the amount of indemnity available under this Policy in respect of that claim bears to the amount paid to dispose of that claim.
Loss of Documents. Indemnify the Insured against any Claim up to but not exceeding in the aggregate for all Claims under this extension, the Limit of Liability for loss of, damage to, or destruction of any Documents within the territorial limits of the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, during the Period of Insurance.
