Common use of Loss of Personal Property Clause in Contracts

Loss of Personal Property. In the event of an altercation between a student and a bargaining unit member while on duty in the school or on the school premises in which the bargaining unit member has acted according to stated Board policies covering the situation, the Board will reimburse the bargaining unit member for any loss or damage of the bargaining unit member's personal property. If the bargaining unit member is injured in such an altercation, approved medical and hospital expenses incurred during the following twelve (12) months which are not covered by Workers’ Compensation or hospitalization insurance will be reimbursed by the Board.
