Classification and Salaries. (a) The salary rates for electrician helpers admitted to the University’s apprenticeship program, upon submission of a certification recognized by the Bureau des examinateurs électriciens, are based on the difference between the rate established for a licensed apprentice and the rate established for a helper.
(b) The salary rate for helpers admitted to the apprenticeship program is determined as follows: Upon obtaining the apprenticeship booklet: 81% of the licensed electrician’s rate. One (1) year after obtaining the apprenticeship booklet: 85% of the licensed electrician’s rate. Three (3) years after obtaining the apprenticeship booklet: 87% of the licensed electrician’s rate. Four (4) years after obtaining the apprenticeship booklet: 90% of the licensed electrician’s rate. Five (5) years after obtaining the apprenticeship booklet: 94% of the licensed electrician’s rate. Upon obtaining the electrician’s qualification certificate: 100% of the licensed electrician’s rate.
(c) An employee who does not obtain an electrician’s qualification certificate issued by Ministère de la Main-d’oeuvre et de la Sécurité du Revenu, or an attestation, remains an electrician helper at the hourly rate for the 4th year.
(d) As of the date of signature of this collective agreement, employees who are apprentice plumbers and electricians and who hold, in respect of their respective trades, a qualification certificate or experience certificate pursuant to the Regulation respecting the vocational training and qualification of
Classification and Salaries. 8.01 Positions shall be classified according to Schedule "A" and salaries shall be paid according to the rates applicable for the periods specified therein.
(a) Regular part-time nurses shall advance up the grid as outlined in Schedule “A” after each one-thousand and four hundred (1400) hours paid to a maximum of one (1) increment in the grid per twelve (12) month interval.
(b) Regular full-time nurses shall advance up the grid as outlined in Schedule “A” after each one-thousand eight hundred and twenty (1820) hours worked or deemed worked to a maximum of one (1) increment on the grid per twelve (12) month interval.
8.03 Whenever a nurse is assigned additional responsibility to direct, supervise or oversee work of employees within her/his Team; and/or assigned overall responsibility for client management in the Team; and/or assigned the responsibilities of a higher classification (whether or not such classification is included in the bargaining unit); the employee shall be called the Team Leader and be paid One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500) annually in addition to her/his regular salary and applicable premiums.
8.04 When a nurse covered by this Agreement is assigned as Team Leader in the absence of the regular Team Leader for one (1) week or more, (s)he will receive on a pro-rata basis, the allowance for Team Leader responsibilities for the whole period. The Corporation will choose the temporary Team Leader.
Classification and Salaries. 22.01 For the purpose of the salary schedule, Members of the Collegiate Unit shall be classified according to Manitoba Department of Education regulations.
Classification and Salaries. 13.1 The Base Rate of Pay for each classification is set out in Schedule B.
13.2 Increases to the Base Rate of Pay for each classification are set out in Schedule B.
13.3 Employees may salary sacrifice part of their pay in accordance with policy.
13.4 The penalty rates, loadings and other additional rates prescribed in this Agreement, including but not limited to overtime penalties and shift penalties, do not have cumulative or concurrent effect. That is, where more than one penalty rate or loading is prescribed by this Agreement as applying to an employee, the employee is only entitled to the penalty rate or loading that provides the employee with the greatest entitlement.
Classification and Salaries. Effective July 1, 2014 and for the term of this Agreement, a salary adjustment shall go into effect for all Police Officers in the following classifications: Xxxxxxxx $48,000.00 Corporal $46,000.00 Patrolman $42,000.00 (after satisfactory completion of the police academy) Recruit $36,000.00 Effective July 1, 2015, all certified Police Officers on the active payroll, with more than one year of service, shall receive a 3% salary increase to their base rate of pay as of July 1, 2015. Effective July 1, 2016, all certified Police Officers on the active payroll, with more than one year of service, shall receive a lump sum pay amount of $1,000.00 added to their base rate of pay as of December 1, 2016. Salary adjustments/increases that are effective July 1, 2014 and has been agreed upon by the University and Union shall be retroactive to July 1, 2014.
Classification and Salaries.
19.01 Existing classifications will not be eliminated without prior agreement with the Union.
Classification and Salaries. All permanent employees in the Bargaining Unit as of June 30, 2008, shall receive a one-time lump sum payment of $500.00. This payment shall be added to the employee’s base salary effective July 1, 2010. Effective July 1, 2010, both the University and the Union agree to a wage reopening for the purpose of negotiating salary increases for 2011 and 2012. This payment shall be paid as soon as practical following execution of this agreement. Only Bargaining Unit members who were on the payroll as of July 1, 2008 and who remain on the payroll on the date of distribution of the lump sum payment shall be eligible to receive this payment. Bargaining Unit employees for whom salary rates have been negotiated by the University and the Union as a result of new responsibilities since July 1, 2008, are not eligible to receive the lump sum distributions.
Classification and Salaries. 27.1 All permanent employees in the Bargaining Unit shall receive an increase in their annual pay to the extent and at such time as that increase is appropriated by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware during each fiscal year.
27.2 The Salary Guide attached will be known as Exhibit A, and all new employees shall receive pay at the rates shown for their pay grade.
27.3 New employees shall be hired at not more than the Maximum Start rate of the applicable pay grade for the position into which they are hired.
27.4 The maximum in the Guide shall not apply to any person employed prior to July 1, 1981.
27.5 When an employee is promoted to a higher rated job on the Salary Guide, the employee's salary will be increased to the Minimum Start rate of the higher pay grade or to the employee's present pay plus seven percent (7%), whichever is greater.
27.6 Employees who are employed on a ten-month basis may request that their annual salary be paid in twenty-six (26) installments.
A. An employee who elects the 26-pay plan cannot change the arrangement during that year nor elect to begin the plan after the first day of the 10-month period.
B. Employees who elect the 26-pay plan must file a written request on forms provided by the Human Resources Department, and this authorization will remain in effect until canceled or employment terminates.
C. Should an employee terminate during the year while being paid under the elected 26-pay plan the employee may be paid in a lump sum the difference between what was paid and what would have been paid if the 26-pay plan had not been elected.
Classification and Salaries. 29.1 The classification and rates of pay for the respective classes shall be as contained in Schedule A.
29.2 Pay days shall be once every two weeks. Employer shall ensure that pay cheques, pay stubs, expense cheques and cash advances received by employees shall be delivered in a confidential manner.
29.3 Each employee shall be assigned to one of the classifications contained in Schedule A. New classifications may be created as the National Union deems necessary and the National Union shall, in accordance with Article 1.3 of this Agreement, negotiate with the Union as to the appropriate salary level. If agreement cannot be reached within thirty (30) days the matter may be referred to arbitration by either party.
29.4 New employees or employees who are promoted will be on probation for a period of six (6) months and paid the probationary rate of salary.
29.5 Any employee required by the National Union to perform the full duties of a higher classification shall be paid at the higher rate for each day so worked.
29.6 The employer shall implement a direct deposit payroll system. When such a system is implemented, it is understood that all employees of the IAM bargaining unit will be paid by way of the direct deposit payroll system.
Classification and Salaries. This appendix provides classification and salaries for the life of the Agreement. This is a new appendix that provides for translation arrangements operative from date of Approval of the Agreement by XXXXX. Current Students in Enrolled Nursing will translate to Assistants in Nursing/Midwifery upon approval of the Agreement by the IRCSA. Current Nurse/Midwife Specialists will translate to the Clinical Nurse/Midwife (Level 2) classification upon approval of the Agreement by the IRCSA.
